Dole Headquarters Moved to Westlake Village

Dole Food Co. Inc., the produce and real estate giant formerly known as Castle & Cooke Inc., said it has moved its headquarters from Westwood to Westlake Village under a reorganization announced last year.
The move consolidates the headquarters and staff of Dole and its subsidiary, Dole Fresh Fruit Co., which was located in Boca Raton, Fla. About 180 employees will be based at the new offices, Dole spokeswoman Carol J. Klein said.
Dole, which employs more than 30,000, had $3 billion in 1990 sales.
