Running back Eric Ross of Pacific University of Forest Grove, Ore., remained hospitalized in critical condition with a head injury suffered in a game against Western Washington, a nursing supervisor said. Ross, 21, was hurt as he carried the ball on a play near the end of the first half. He walked off the field and collapsed.
