Even After the Shock, It’s Hard to Get Used to Absence of Magic
- Share via
My nephew, Edwin, who is 7 years old, asked me what Magic Johnson meant to me. I told him, Magic Johnson is every father’s dream of what his son should be; and every young boy’s example of what he should try to accomplish and be: a hard-working, caring and loving person, but most of all an honest man. And for the past 12 years, the sports world and public have seen a young Earvin (Magic) Johnson grow to be every father’s dream and every young boy’s example of what a man should be.
