JUNIOR COLLEGE FOOTBALL ROUNDUP : Antelope Valley Romps to 59-34 Win

Marty Washington completed 12 of 17 passes for 246 yards and two touchdowns Saturday to lead Antelope Valley College to a 59-34 victory over Mt. San Jacinto in a Foothill Conference football game at Hemet.
Antelope Valley improved to 8-1, 6-1 in conference play.
Greg Graham gained 121 yards in seven carries and Cash Achziger (15 carries for 73 yards) scored three touchdowns to complement Washington. Lamart Cooper caught four passes for 147 yards, including a 57-yard touchdown pass from Washington.
WESTERN STATE CONFERENCE
Ventura 19, Harbor 15--Stan Duffy intercepted three passes--he returned one 85 yards for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter--to lead the visiting Pirates (3-6, 3-5) to victory.
Harbor led, 15-12, and had the ball at Ventura’s 22-yard line when a pass by Seahawk quarterback Bill Inman was tipped by Ventura linebacker Chris Venturina. Duffy grabbed the deflection at the 15 and scored with 5:40 left.
