Village Christian 8, Camp Kilpatrick 6--Senior running back Chad Everett ran for 183 yards in 18 carries to lead the Crusaders (5-5-1) at Kennedy High.
On Village Christian’s first possession, Myles Brown scored from 12 yards on a reverse and Tarik Blair added the two-point conversion on a run up the middle.
Camp Kilpatrick (6-4-1) scored early in the fourth quarter on Hubert Rush’s 36-yard run. However, the Mustangs’ two-point conversion try failed when Rush was stopped by Jason Gourson.
