Where’s the magazine’s sense of humor? It’s depressing to read about young mothers dying of cancer, buildings collapsing, men accused of child molestation and housewives murdering their husbands. How about more on what makes L.A. L.A.? The Oct. 20 style section was great, but too hard to find among the doom and gloom. How about more profiles of what the trend-setters are up to?
