Andrew M. Stodel, 87, for many years president of the San Fernando Valley Fair. Stodel was a teacher in the Los Angeles Unified School District by vocation and a volunteer by avocation. In addition to his work on the fair, he was a director on the California State Fair Board, a leader of Future Farmers of America and 4-H groups, president of the Native Sons of the Golden West and an international poultry judge. On Monday in Sherman Oaks.
