Kanter came to Westwood from Los Angeles-based Neutrogena Corp., where he was senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer.
Kanter succeeds Westwood President William Battison as chief financial officer.
The company is a leading producer and distributor of radio programming and the parent company of the Mutual Broadcasting System and NBC Radio Network.
