Avasaurus Wins Aqueduct Feature

NEW YORK — Viola Sommer’s Avasaurus edged Wild Away by a head to win Wednesday’s King’s Swan purse at Aqueduct.
Avasaurus was ridden by Jean-Luc Samyn and pulled away in the final yards. He paid $7 for the victory.
Wild Away finished more than four lengths ahead of Sea Hunter in the five-horse field.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Avasaurus, who covered one mile and 70 yards on the fast track in 1:42 3/5.
