See You in Court, Take 2: Pop star Paula Abdul has been hit with a second lawsuit by Yvette Marine, a studio singer who claims she sang lead vocals with Abdul on several of Abdul’s hits. In a $5-million suit filed Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Marine alleges she was “defamed and injured” by “false” statements made about her during a nationally televised press conference called by Abdul last April to deny lip-sync allegations that Marine had raised. The new suit also targets Abdul’s manager and two executives at Virgin Records, which releases Abdul’s music.
