The World of Outlaws sprint car race, scheduled for tonight at Manzanita Speedway in Phoenix, has been canceled, according to track officials.
Manzanita, which will host a California Racing Assn. wingless sprint car program Saturday night, was unable to come up with the purse money in advance.
