Alvin Schwartz; Author of Best-Selling Children’s Books

Alvin Schwartz, 64, an author of best-selling children’s books. Schwartz published more than 50 books in the last 30 years. His latest, “And the Green Grass Grows All Around,” a collection of folk poetry, was published this month.
