Congressional Check Bouncers

As a citizen, I think every House member who knowingly bounced even one check should resign immediately. It is time for our elected officials to be held accountable for their behavior, public and private. Public officials owe it to their constituency to live their lives to the highest of moral standards.
Yes, they are human, with all the frailties that that implies; but when they choose to run for public office, they set themselves apart with a responsibility to live a life that is beyond reproach. I will vote against any House member involved in this scandal. Oh, and by the way, there are no degrees of dishonesty--you are either honest or you’re not.
