MPI Technologies Deal: MPI Technologies Inc. in Huntington Beach has signed deals with nine distribution companies to sell its products, which make IBM’s large computers compatible with Hewlett-Packard laser printers.
“This is . . . the culmination of eight months of carefully constructing our (distribution) channel,” said Douglas M. Roberts, MPI executive vice president and general manager.
MPI’s distributors are: Peak Technologies Group Inc. in Billerica, Mass.; Gentry Associates Inc. in Orlando, Fla.; Lowry Computer Products Inc. in Brighton, Mich.; Computime Inc. in St. Louis; Dytec Inc. in St. Paul, Minn.; Microlog Inc. in Austin, Tex.; PAR Associates Inc. in Denver; Law-Cypress Distributing Co. in San Jose, and Ahearn & Soper Inc. in Rexdale, Ontario, Canada.
MPI is an affiliate of Paris-based MPI-France, a 17-year-old company with $35 million in annual revenue.
