Rohrabacher Immigrant View Booed, Cheered

It defies common sense for a society to provide a range of social services to people who are here illegally. It makes no difference whether their names are Chinese, English, Egyptian, German, Japanese, Filipino, Spanish, Vietnamese, or any other nationality.
The central issue is that they are here illegally; they are lawbreakers, and the only social services they deserve are confinement and deportation plus emergency medical sufficient to prepare them for the trip back to their own country. To make a big fuss about using the name Pedro to characterize these illegals is simply a smoke screen designed to obscure the truth of Rohrabacher’s main point.
The Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund would be better served if it lived up to its name and provided service to Americans and spent less time rushing to the defense of the invading lawbreakers.
