Aaron Pearson, a former linebacker with the Kansas City Chiefs, was listed in serious but stable condition after being shot in the back and left on a city street in Gadsden, Ala.
According to police, Pearson, 27, went into a rage and jumped on the hood of a car driven by Terrence Crook after he saw a young woman getting out of the car. She and Tony Crook, a cousin of Terrence and a passenger in the car, jumped back into the car.
With the car moving, Pearson broke the windshield with his fists and went into the car. Police said that’s when Tony Crook apparently shot him.
