Kennedy 2, Thousand Oaks 0--Lisa Pitt doubled in the sixth inning to score junior Lana Jiminez for the host Fighting Irish. Jiminez, who scored Kennedy’s first run following a hit by pitcher Nicole Paloney, went three for three and had three stolen bases. Paloney (10-2) had eight strikeouts for Kennedy, which plays Cypress next Tuesday.

Simi Valley 7, Los Alamitos 0--The Pioneers (25-2) scored six times in the third inning and and sophomore Sara Griffin (15-1) pitched a two-hitter as the visiting Griffins (16-7-1) were eliminated.
