Lawyers Say Milken Not Entirely Candid: Government lawyers said they believe that Michael Milken has not been entirely candid while cooperating with them but stopped short of saying he had lied. The comments came during a hearing before U.S. District Judge Kimba Wood on a request by the former Drexel Burnham Lambert Inc. financier to have his 10-year prison sentence reduced. Lawyers for the government and Milken agreed that the former junk-bond financier had helped the Justice Department and Securities and Exchange Commission but differed over the extent of his assistance.
