Fans Are Fighting Mad About Having to Watch Lightweight Matchups

No one in their right mind who has ever seen a fight believes that Larry Holmes came to win. He obviously attended the match to collect his $7 million, an absurd sum for someone of his current talent. How much longer are boxing fans going to support the opportunistic, if not illicit, activity? Unless the next “match” substitutes a modification of the winner-take-all principle, I am not going to watch.
