Notebook Accessories: Computer Products Plus Inc. is selling ammo to both sides.
The Huntington Beach company said it has signed joint marketing agreements with AST Research Inc. and Toshiba America Information Systems Inc., both based in Irvine and rivals in the notebook computer wars.
Computer Products Plus makes accessories for the little computers, which fit inside a briefcase and weigh less than eight pounds. Under the two deals, the company will provide memory and processor upgrades, manuals and customer service for the manufacturers.
