Comments Solicited on Replacement of Supt.

The board of education of the Hacienda-La Puente Unified School District has begun its search for a new superintendent to replace James E. Johnson, who retired.
The board will be advised in the process by Richard Montgomery of the California School Boards Assn., who will determine the specific abilities and experience desired in the new superintendent.
The public may discuss these matters with Montgomery at meetings in the district office, 15959 E. Gale Ave., City of Industry today from 8 a.m. through the evening, on Aug. 10 from 11 a.m. through the evening, on Aug. 17 from 11 a.m. through the evening and on Sept. 10 from 8 a.m. to noon.
