Baldwin Park : 4-Day Week at City Hall

City government will go to a four-day week beginning Sept. 28, as part of its smog-reduction plan.
New hours at City Hall, 14403 Pacific Ave., will be 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Current hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The purpose of the change is to reduce commuting trips to comply with requirements of the Air Quality Management District for employers with 100 or more employees at one work site. The district requirements are an effort to reduce air pollution.
