A federal jury of five women and three men was picked in Washington to decide how much money is owed members of 1989 NFL developmental squads, who were found to be victims of illegal price-fixing.
At issue is how much owners must pay 235 players who challenged the illegal price-fixing. The NFL Players Assn. said it is hoping for at least $20 million.
Opening arguments in the case were scheduled for today by U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth.
