Injured Keiaho Might Miss Game

George Keiaho, Buena High’s standout junior running back, is doubtful for tonight’s Channel League game at Santa Barbara because of a severe right-ankle sprain.
Keiaho, who has 684 yards and nine touchdowns in 82 carries--including a Ventura County-record 415 yards in the season opener--did not play last week against Dos Pueblos because of severe swelling in the ankle. Keiaho was injured two weeks ago against Newbury Park.
“If we played tonight, he wouldn’t play,” Buena Coach Rick Scott said Thursday. “We’ll suit him up and see how he is in pregame. Maybe if there’s enough adrenaline and the pain isn’t bad he can do something for us. But I’d say it’s doubtful.”
