Green Party

Thanks for your report (Column One, Sept. 28) on the Green Party. With Kermit the Frog we sing, “It’s Not Easy Being Green.”
Unlike those in Mendocino who may be concerned about choice seaweed, I find Los Angeles citizens profoundly concerned about their lethal air. The mythology of incumbent politicians states, “Well, what do you want, clean air or jobs?” Our Green Party response is that clean air means more jobs, a functional sewer system means more jobs, electric cars mean more jobs, public transit means more jobs, low-cost housing means more jobs, first-rate public schools mean more jobs. I think both the Republican and Democratic parties are very tired, dull and boring. The people of Los Angeles deserve a new springtime with fresh air!
