CEO Retirements: J. Peter Grace, who has run conglomerate W. R. Grace & Co. for nearly half a century, is undergoing cancer treatment and will step down as chief executive Jan. 1, the company said. Grace, 79, will be succeeded by J. P. Bolduc, 53, who already runs much of the company’s operations as president. Meanwhile, Los Angeles-based food wholesaler Rykoff-Sexton Inc. said CEO Roger W. Coleman, 63, will retire immediately, though he will remain a director. He will be succeeded by Mark Van Stekelenburg, 41, who had been executive vice president. Rykoff has been struggling in the poor California economy.
