Carl Peterson was given a four-year contract extension as president and general manager of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Peterson was hired four years ago to take over a franchise that had won only four games in the two previous seasons. Since then, the Chiefs have won 60% of their games, fifth-best in the NFL over that period.
