2 Bombs End Holiday Truce in North Ireland

LONDONDERRY, Northern Ireland — A Christmas peace in Northern Ireland ended early Sunday when two small bombs were set off at a police station.
There were no injuries, and the Rosemont police station was not damaged.
The Irish Republican Army, which is fighting to end British rule in Northern Ireland, had called a three-day holiday cease-fire.
The bombs went off half an hour after the truce ended at midnight, but no one immediately claimed responsibility.
