COAST IS CLEAR: The Orange County Bicycle Coalition, with 2,500 bike riders, sometimes complains about agencies insensitive to bikers’ needs. But the coalition last week wrote a letter praising Caltrans for helping bicycle riders during the current widening of Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach. . . . Coalition chairman Michael R. Mott says Caltrans workers have kept warning cones and debris out of the way of cyclists’ riding paths.
