Hospital Gives School Money for Computers

San Gabriel Valley Medical Center has given a $3,000 grant to McKinley Elementary School in San Gabriel for computers and programs to assist the 400 students who are limited in English. The students represent 23 languages or dialects.
The center donated the funds through Southern California Edison Co.’s “Step Up to Support Education” program that matches potential educational programs with corporate sponsors.
