Tracy Patterson won a unanimous 12-round decision over Jesse Benavides to retain his WBC super-bantamweight title at Poughkeepsie, N.Y., Patterson’s hometown.
The adopted son of former heavyweight champion Floyd Patterson dominated the 11th round with several combinations after the fight appeared to be virtually even after the first 10 rounds.
