Beverly Hills Teacher Honored

Beverly Hills High School English teacher Marilyn Wulliger received one of two 1993 Bravo Awards from the Music Center on Monday. The awards honor elementary and high school teachers in Southern California for their achievements in arts education.
Wulliger, a Pacific Palisades resident, received the award at a dinner at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles. A teacher of advanced placement English and world literature, Wulliger was commended for her efforts to integrate arts and literature in her teaching.
Carol Tavis of Covina was the other Bravo Award recipient. Culver City resident Deborah Hodies, a teacher at 32nd Street/USC Magnet School, was one of seven finalists.
