NBC Buys Rights to Two Collins Novels

After success with two previous adaptations of Jackie Collins novels, NBC has purchased rights to two more Collins books and plans to turn them into four-hour movies.
The network said that it expects to air both “Hollywood Husbands” and “American Star--A Love Story” during the 1993-94 season. Collins will write both screenplays.
