HOLLYWOOD : Father of Toddler Left on Doorstep Located

The father of a 15-month-old boy left on a doorstep in Hollywood has been located, police said Tuesday.
Los Angeles Police Department detectives have spoken with relatives and the child’s father but have not located the mother, Detective Denise Evans said.
“We know she has some personal problems and is a little confused,” Evans said. She declined to release the names of either the child or the parents.
The child is still in protective custody. A security guard found the toddler about 4 a.m. Monday in front of an apartment building at 5426 Virginia Ave. and called police.
