CAMARILLO : Parents Sought for Task Force on School
- Share via
The Pleasant Valley Elementary School District in Camarillo will set up a task force to recommend what grades should be taught at a new elementary school planned for Woodcreek Road, school officials said.
The task force, which will be made up of teachers, parents and district staff, also will advise the district board on selecting a name for the new school, said Evelyn Gillespie, district director of instructional programs, who will head the panel.
Because the new school will take students from crowded Las Colinas School, the task force will include three parents of Las Colinas students in addition to the chairman of the school’s parent-teacher association.
Parents interested in joining the task force should contact Las Colinas School by Friday, Gillespie said.
