* As a Democrat I’m really turned off by Woo’s need for the help of the California Democratic Party. Mark Mellman, a Democratic pollster (May 1) said “a presidential visit . . . could be the difference between winning and losing.” It further shows he isn’t the man for the job he claims to be. I can’t spend my valuable vote on a candidate who is showing such weakness. I will be switching my vote to Riordan.
