Johnson Gets 15 Strikeouts

SEATTLE — Randy Johnson struck out 15 through eight innings to lead the Seattle Mariners to a 6-3 victory over the Kansas City Royals Monday night.
It was the 10th consecutive victory in the Kingdome for Johnson (8-3).
Johnson’s 15 strikeouts--three shy of his single-game career high--gave him 121 for the season, most in the major leagues.
