Hey, Laker Fans: It’s a New Decade

During the 1980s, the Lakers were in their heyday. Magic Johnson’s teams won with class and style and helped revive a dying NBA. Now the Bulls are on the top of the pile and the Laker fans are moaning and whining.

Instead of a simple congratulations to Chicago, Laker fans are using any argument, however weak, to try to prove they were better. The Bulls earned the three-peat, something the Lakers weren’t able to do in Magic’s era. Laker fans should take a cue from their team and pass on their congratulations to Chicago and the Bulls. The only thing that whining does is tarnish the classy image the Lakers forged in the 1980s.
