Pilots’ Decision Expected: Negotiations between Northwest Airlines and its pilots resumed in a last-ditch effort to agree on concessions that could keep the troubled carrier out of bankruptcy. Leaders of the pilots union are expected to consider the company’s latest offer today. If union leaders reject the package without putting it to a rank-and-file vote, talks would break off and bankruptcy is expected, said a source close to the talks.
