A Lockwood Canyon woman was treated for facial wounds Thursday after she dropped a loaded gun, causing it to fire a bullet into her face. Terri Pilgram was getting dressed about 4 p.m. when a gun that she carried in her jeans fell out of the pocket, hit the floor and fired, authorities said.
Pilgram, 34, sustained minor wounds to her face and nose, and was rushed by helicopter to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital in Valencia.
Hospital officials said she was treated and released Thursday night.
