Foul Play Is Feared in Disappearance of Woman

COSTA MESA — Police on Friday said they suspect foul play in the disappearance earlier this week of a 43-year-old woman.
Myra A. King was last seen by her son, Raymond, as she left for work about 9 a.m. Monday. She never arrived, and on Tuesday her employer, Girls Inc. of Costa Mesa, reported her missing.
Sgt. Mike Millington said King rarely missed work and had a field trip scheduled for Monday that she would not have missed intentionally.
“Her disappearance is really unusual behavior for her, which leads us to believe it may be involuntary or the result of foul play,” Millington said.
King, who is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds, was last seen leaving 825 Center St. wearing blue denim pants and a brown jacket-dress.
