STANTON : Aid Services to Move to Garden Grove Sites
- Share via
Residents who receive financial assistance through the Orange County Social Services Agency will have their services transferred to the agency’s two Garden Grove facilities beginning Tuesday.
The change will affect Stanton residents who receive or want to apply for Aid to Families With Dependent Children (AFDC), food stamps or Medi-Cal benefits.
Agency officials said the move would alleviate cramped quarters at the current service site, the Metro Regional Center in Anaheim.
Stanton residents applying for aid will be handled at the West Regional Center Intake Facility, at 9191 Westminster Ave.
The center can be reached for more information at (714) 896-7799.
Residents who already have aid and are seeking case management or assistance will be processed at the West Regional Center Continuing Facility, at 12912 Brookhurst St. The number for continuing case information is (714) 741-7100.
Current Stanton aid recipients will be notified by mail of the transfer of their case records. A notice will also provide the name and phone number of the specific agency employee responsible for their case.
Both offices are open 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays and, along with most county agencies and offices, are closed every other Friday.
