Griffith Park : Fund-Raiser for Homeless

The seventh annual Run and Walk for the Homeless will be held Saturday at Griffith Park.
Proceeds will benefit Chrysalis, a homeless assistance agency on Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles.
Chrysalis teaches job-hunting and interviewing techniques, computer skills, and proper dress for job interviews.
The agency supplies temporary workers to local companies, providing the homeless with work experience and references.
The fund-raiser starts at 8 a.m. Participants may run five or 10 kilometers or join the 5K community walk.
