HUNTINGTON BEACH : Volleyball Event to Be Fund-Raiser

Golden West College is holding all-star volleyball games Saturday to raise money for repairing the vandalized gymnasium floor at Fountain Valley High School.

The games pit all-star alumni of Marina High School against famous volleyball alumni of Huntington Beach High School.

The charity games start at 7:30 and continue through 10 p.m. Tickets are $3 and can be purchased at the Golden West College Athletic Office, Marina High School, Huntington Beach High School, and at the door.

During halftime, audience members can win prizes in a target shoot.

Golden West College Men’s Volleyball Coach Alan Knipe said the event “is a good way for good people to help restore the Fountain Valley High School gymnasium floor and enjoy some great volleyball.”
