Irvine Valley Advances to Soccer Final

COSTA MESA — Jeff Rynders and Frank Pace each scored two goals to lead Irvine Valley to a 4-1 victory over Ohlone in the semifinals of the State community college soccer championships Saturday at Orange Coast College.
Irvine Valley (18-3-4), the Orange Empire Conference champion, advanced to today’s 2 p.m. final against Santa Barbara, which defeated Santa Rosa, 1-0, in the other semifinal.
