The Nov. 14 letter from Cary S. Hutchinson regarding “Weekend Escape: Half Moon Bay” cannot be left unanswered. Your staff writer did an excellent job of detailing that trip. She does not deserve criticism just because she and her husband enjoyed their adventure which included drinking some wine.
There is not the slightest hint of abuse of alcohol in the article or, for that matter, on the part of The Times staff for printing it.
