New Medical Director Appointed at Viratek

* John E. Gait has been appointed international medical director of Viratek Inc. in Costa Mesa, a subsidiary of ICN Pharmaceuticals Inc. Gait was previously a member of the department of medical affairs for Norwich Eaton/Procter and Gamble Pharmaceuticals in New York. He has also been head of medical affairs for the European division of Norwich Eaton Ltd., and medical adviser and research physician for The Boots Co., a pharmaceutical firm in the United Kingdom.
