CYPRESS — A 22-year-old man was reported in fair condition Friday after being shot at least twice after an argument over gang-related slurs and challenges, police said.
Police officers responding to numerous reports of gunfire found Archie Manu Tupu wounded and lying in his garage in the 8300 block of Fontainbleau Way about 9:15 p.m. Thursday, said dispatcher Tamra Smith of the Cypress Police Department.
Authorities believe Tupu and the assailant, a man reported to be in his mid-20s, had a gang-related dispute before the shooting, but additional information was not available, officials said.
