New Director of Consumer Sales Is Named at AST

* Stanley R. Schiller has been appointed to the new position of director of consumer sales for AST Research Inc., an Irvine computer company. Schiller was most recently senior director of product marketing for Tandy Corp. During his six years there, he was also senior director of OEM sales, personal computer sales, corporate sales and value-added resale. Schiller also held sales and marketing positions at Businessland, Zenith Data Systems and Sears, Roebuck & Co.
