The Region : Galanter Funds Projects

Councilwoman Ruth Galanter has awarded grants to three local organizations.
Crenshaw High School was awarded $400 to sponsor a swimming program for students, and Airport Marina Counseling Services and Christian Fellowship of Los Angeles each received $150 to fund youth programs.
The grant money came from discretionary funds available to each council member for community projects.
“These are worthy programs that deserve our support,” Galanter said.
